We’re excited to share that Kirsteen, Alison and Caty from the It’s All About People team have been appointed as ambassadors for the Personalised Care Institute (PCI). They join a growing national community of professionals championing personalised care across health and social care.
Their appointment comes as more than 40 health and care professionals join the PCI Ambassador Programme, bringing the total number of ambassadors to 103.
Each new ambassador strengthens a network of clinicians, academics and care leaders who share a common goal: making personalised care the standard, not the exception.
For the It’s All About People team, this recognition reflects work we care deeply about. We support services and organisations to place people at the centre of care by recognising individual strengths, experiences and priorities, and working in genuine partnership with them.
The PCI ambassador programme brings together the Personalised Care Institute and professionals working on the frontline of health and care. Together, ambassadors help demonstrate what personalised care looks like in real settings and why it matters. This helps encourage wider adoption of approaches that enable people to feel informed, confident and in control of their own health and wellbeing.
PCI ambassadors come from a wide range of professions and specialties across primary care, secondary care, social care, academia, and industry. Many share their expertise through professional publications, blogs, podcasts, and conferences, helping to spread practical examples of how personalised care improves experiences and outcomes.
Dr Jenni Naisby, Clinical Director for Research, Education and Partnerships at the Personalised Care Institute, said:
“Our ambassadors are vital in helping us ensure we’re embedding personalised care, so people experience support that is shaped around what matters to them. I’m looking forward to welcoming new members to our growing network and working together to show the real difference personalised care makes to people’s lives.”
For Kirsteen, Alison, and Caty, becoming PCI ambassadors is another step in championing listening, partnership, and shared decision-making in health and care - because, ultimately, it’s all about people.
