It's All About People Awards 2024

It is that time of year again, the ‘It’s all about People’ award nominations are now open in anticipation of the conference on July 3rd 2024.

The awards aim to recognise and celebrate excellence in personalised care and strengths-based approaches throughout Lincolnshire.

Do you know any co-production champions who have really worked closely with people with lived experience to shape and improve their services?  Or are you aware of teams or individuals who really embed the five foundations from Our Shared Agreement in everything they do?  Or is there someone you know who lives and breathes personalisation and strengths based practice, and who looks for new ways of working to meet the needs of people.

Nominations could be for teams, individual members of the workforce paid or unpaid, or for people with lived experience who help to embed personalisation across the health, care and community sectors.

For example:

  • Driving forward and embedding co-production approaches

  • Supporting people to make more informed choices through shared decision making

  • Making creative use of personal health budgets/ direct payments

  • Being prepared to do things differently (Foundation 1)

  • Working with people to create their own Personalised Care and Support Plan to understand what matters to people (Foundation 2)

  • Connecting people to support in the wider community, working together for the wellbeing of everyone (Foundation 3)

  • Moving from a ‘what’s wrong?’ to a ‘what’s strong?’ conversation with the people you support, not about them (Foundation 4)

  • Making the most of what we have available to us within the wider health and care community (Foundation 5)

The Award nominations will be judged by the It’s All About People Conference Steering Group, a multi-agency partnership including people with lived experience. Winners will be announced at the It’s All About People Conference on 3rd July, and nominees will be invited to attend or, in the case of team nominations, to send a representative.
