Community Reporter Training

Community Reporter Training

Become a Community Reporter and gather stories of lived experience to support positive change in health and care in Lincolnshire

Community Reporters are people who independently gather stories about their own and others’ lived experiences to contribute to a shared ‘story library’ for Lincolnshire.

Community Reporter training is usually a two-day course, held in person. It is delivered by a local network of accredited trainers using methods, tools, and techniques developed and supported by People’s Voice Media.

What does the course cover?

The two-day course covers:

  • What is Community Reporting?
  • Snapshot Stories, Dialogue Interviews, and Personal Monologues
  • Tips for photography, audio, and video recording
  • Responsible Storytelling
  • Using the Community Reporter website
  • Making plans for your next steps as a Community Reporter
