We know that Lincolnshire is full of incredible people who want to make a difference to health and care provision in the county. Right now, we’re inviting you to step forward and become an Our Shared Agreement Listener.
Why? Because listening is powerful. It’s where real change begins.
We’d love you to join our growing network of Our Shared Agreement Listeners.
Here’s how you can get involved:
It’s simple, but it matters. As a Listener, you’ll:
This will help us explore how we can strengthen relationships between people and health, care, and wellbeing services.
These conversations don’t have to be big and formal. They could be relaxed chats with people in your group, community, service, or organisation. And they could happen in the staff room, at an event, over a catch-up with friends, or just in passing.
You may be becoming a Listener as someone who works in health or care services, or is an It’s All About People Champion, a volunteer, or a person with lived experience.
Wherever you are, whatever you do, you’re already in the right place to make great and valuable conversations happen!
The world of health and care is changing – fast. Demand is increasing, pressures are mounting, and with this, structures are shifting and priorities evolving.
But at the heart of it all are people. And Our Shared Agreement Listeners make sure we don’t lose sight of that. Our Listeners remind us that, above all, health, care, and wellbeing are all about people and all about relationships.
By listening, you’ll:
This is about listening to and gathering stories, building trust, and making change happen from the ground up. And you can be right at the heart of this.
Launched in July 2024, Our Shared Agreement is a growing movement to build a better relationship between people and health and care services in Lincolnshire. It’s about helping everyone live their best lives, whatever their age or stage of life.
Together - professionals, volunteers, patients, families, and communities - we’re learning, sharing, and building the kind of support that really works for people.
At the heart of our Shared Agreement are Five Foundations. These were shaped both by people who deliver care in Lincolnshire and those who receive it.
Each Foundation offers new ways of thinking and working together. They invite us to move beyond problems and processes, and instead focus on strengths, hopes, and what truly matters most to people:
These Foundations are here to guide us - not as rules, but as everyday touchstones for building better conversations, stronger relationships, and more meaningful care and support.
