14th November 2023

On Friday 10th November 2023, Matt Evans and colleagues lead the personalisation huddle and shared their work to embed approaches within the MSK pathway.

Embedding personalised approaches in and around a clinical pathway

Since February 2023, they have worked together to identify opportunities and resources in order to make the journey from hip/knee pain through to surgical recovery more personalised. Co-production has run throughout, often steering the work's ambition from the perspective of people with lived experience. It is ongoing but, so far, key milestones have been made in primary care (alongside the development of the virtual clinics), secondary care (physiotherapy and orthopaedics) and the community sector (physical activity and leisure partners).
