The Lincolnshire ReSPECT policy has been refreshed, with a clear focus on making personalised emergency care planning simpler, faster, and more accessible for everyone involved.
To support colleagues in understanding and confidently using the updated approach, a new short series of drop-in sessions has been scheduled for late April (see dates and times below)
These friendly, informal sessions offer practical guidance, real-world answers, and open discussion, making it easier to feel confident in delivering personalised emergency care planning.
These drop-in sessions take place on Microsoft Teams. Click on a link below to join a session:

Over 200 colleagues from across Health, Social Care, and the VCFSE sector joined ReSPECT Drop-in sessions held through February to April - and the response has been overwhelmingly positive:
What makes these sessions so valuable is that they go beyond a simple presentation - they create an open, supportive space where people can share experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another.
The sessions cover a wide range of practical topics, including:
We’re also building a useful Q&A resource based on the questions raised—so every session helps support colleagues across the system.
Whether you’re looking for guidance on a specific topic or just want to better understand the updated policy, these drop-ins are a great opportunity to get involved.
No need to prepare - just join, listen, and ask.
